    so much for rest & relaxation....

    So things are alittle different than my original plan of laying by the pool all week and reading! Yesterday we visited Cook State Forest, and it was fantastic! The Clarion river runs thru it and it boasts some of the tallest, oldest trees in the country. We wanted to hike a little, so we picked a 2 mile "moderate" trail. HA! I didn't think we would ever get out of there, and there were SO MANY HILLS! But it was truly beautiful and I am so glad we did it. (CONTINUED NEXT ENTRY)

    Hi Michele,

    Sometimes things never turn out like we plan them to, but I think it’s really great that you’re keep us informed on what you are doing on your vacation. From what you are saying it sounds wonderful and seeing nature in all the beauty it has to offer must be fantastic! Getting a little exercise and seeing all those inspiring old trees must make you wonder: What they could tell you if they could talk? I can’t wait to hear how your canoe trip went and Thank you for writing about your vacation!
